The scenery of Hokkaido streets never gets old and I love roaming the streets in search of new cafés. As much as I enjoy the bustling of streets of Tokyo,Hokkaido is a great place to slow down your pace and enjoy the simple pleasures in life. After taking a long walk, I got my eye set on a bowl of unagi rice topped with an onsen tamago. It may be simple but sometimes a simple meal may be the most satisfying meal. Continuing my tour around the streets of Hokkaido, I came across a huge plain field with a clock tower overlooking it. Hearing the sound of laughter and watching children running around the field is so heart warming. Serenity could truly be one of the greatest pleasures in life.
I really love Japan and only gets to visited Tokyo a few years ago. Wishing to visit Hokkaido if I have a chance and money. Great pictures !!!

GORGEOUS photos! One of the biggest dreams I have is to visit Japan one day
ReplyDeleteI don't think I properly appreciated Japanese food until I moved to the States! Back in China, I ate Japanese food quite often, and it was delicious and reasonably priced. I've been back in the States for almost a semester now (freshman year of college), and the only times I've eaten Japanese food were when my parents came to visit me and we decided to eat out (I can't afford eating at a good nearby Japanese restaurant myself on my college budget!). Sometimes my campus dining hall has Japanese food, but the "Japanese" food is more like Americanized-Japanese food if you get what I mean. Ahh, I hope I can eat some good Japanese food soon! -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey's
