The scent of fresh flowers lingered in the air as I trailed it to Aoyama flower market. Enveloped in a world of lush greenery, the Aoyama tea house is a pleasant place for an afternoon tea. After the flower appreciation, I made my way towards the streets of Omotesando and Harajuku as the skyscrapers towered over me. The trees that lined the street has all gone bare as winter falls upon us. I walked through the wintry weather and found an underground shop, pass the baton. It has the most unique concept I have ever seen. The name pass the baton is derived from recycling ones pre-loved clothes or items. Every item in this store has a story passing on their memories to the next buyer. You could find anything in this store from teddy bears to clothing, kitchenware and jewelry. The items though recycled, look practically new.

My hunger pangs were starting to hit me and I needed some food to get me going. I searched the neighborhood for food and I found a food truck selling fries. I got myself some fries generously coated with warm cheese, just the comfort food I need. Night started to fall as we toured the alleys and streets, finding beautiful cafes and flower boutiques before settling for dinner.

We eventually had Heiroku sushi for dinner. The sushi was delightful and as we sat around the sushi bar watching the sushi chefs in action, we took more and more sushi of the conveyor belt. We are totally satisfied and made our way back to the hotel, making a final stop at the convenience store. The convenience store was one of my favorite places, you can find practically everything there at affordable prices. I got real greedy and bought myself a green tea ice cream and some fried food before retiring back to the hotel. A satisfying day of shopping and dining.
