It is April and the Sakura season has just begun. It was really enjoyable to feel the cool breeze gently brush against my face and watch Sakura flowers falling from their trees, beautifully littering the streets of Osaka. Everyone were getting around on their bikes and life seemed to be passing at a relaxed pace.
While walking the streets of Shinsabashi in Osaka (Japan), it seemed almost impossible to resist the temptation of food. Each cafe or eatery had their own specialty and every one looked delectable. Spoilt for choices, we eventually landed up in a cozy eatery and had eel rice for lunch. After lunch, we ventured further down the streets of Shinsaibashi and I ended up buying myself a milk ice cream (only 100 yen!!) and a box of strawberries.
The strawberries look delicious... they are not in season until the summer for us but oh are they yummy :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos - I'd love to go and see the Cherry blossom :o) Xx

Gorgeous photos, I can see how you would have had a tough time choosing where to eat.
ReplyDeleteZomg... aren't the strawberries in Japan AMAZE!? I remember when I was there I must have eaten pounds of strawberries. They have such a sweet yet rich, complex flavor compared to the slightly sour (and not at all beautiful) strawberries in the US haha.

Beautiful! I love Japanese culture. It's so beautiful. Also, those strawberries look delicious. I used to live in Yokosuka when I was much younger (about 3 to 6 years old) and I remember everything being so big! (Of course, I was a tiny person then) - I so want to go back again. I went to Tokyo once for Disneyland (not sure if it is still there), and that was a magical experience, indeed!
