Gardens by the bay: flower festival

The Orchid is Singapore’s national flower probably because of its ravishing beauty. I can hardly believe that Gardens by the Bay is having a flower festival with an orchid extravaganza floral display featuring some 18 000 orchid plants and a ten meters tall orchid tunnel for our bedazzlement. Immersing myself within this world of orchids was overwhelming and surreal. Amidst the magnificent displays you may chance upon some roses. Although a rose symbolizes love and passion, it is ironic how it is covered in thorns. 

 Asides from the domes in Gardens by the Bay, the flower festival had an outdoor themed garden. There were so many elements to it and it was simply stunning. My favorite section of the outdoor themed garden had to be the unique display of floating umbrellas. It seems like a page in a fairy tale book brought to life. Also, what I love about the garden festival is their adorable little scarecrows. With barely any farms in Singapore it is rare to find any scarecrows lying around and not to mention cute ones. How I wish that the flower festival could last a little longer..

 Yesterday, I finally had a new blog makeover done by Lorelai Sebastian. OH MY, I'M SO IN LOVE WITH MY BLOG LAYOUT, I kept staring at it for almost 10 minutes straight (ooopps!).
