It is the last day of 2014 and there is so little time to finished what we set out to do in 2013. I spent my last day of 2014 with Ben and I wanted to keep it simple. I have always wanted to visit this vintage coffee shop that serves Italian cuisine. I really love the concept of shops that maintained much of our country's old heritage. It gives me a feeling of living in the moment and I always feel better to experience things firsthand rather than reading it out of a book. We had spicy pork ragout and clam aglio olio. The pasta had a nice al dente texture and the meal was satisfactory. In the neighborhood, there was a mini mart which sold some unique goods and I love their minute maid popsicle there and I had to have one since it was the last day of the year. We had two popsicles, one with lime and cherry and the other in strawberry and lemon. I love having both sweet and sour flavors in my mouth and these popsicles were perfect.
For dinner, we had sushi by the riverside and enjoyed the night lights and music. It was a very enjoyable night but there was one last thing I needed to do. Welcome 2015! Counting down the minutes to 2015 we played with sparklers and welcomed the new year.
HAPPY 2015 everyone!!
