Spring is probably one of the best time to visit Japan. The weather is cool and it is an invitation to the season of cherry blossoms.
There are so many temptations lurking everywhere in Japan and I always fall prey to the hands of pastry shops. I can hardly resist the decadent dessert they have to offer. There were so many pastries that I could choose from but what caught my attention was the ice cream stand at the corner of the shop. It was funny how I completely abandoned the pastries I was craving for in exchange for an ice cream, but well I guess I am only human. I ordered myself a vanilla ice cream, the classic of all flavors and I am glad I choose the ice cream over the pastries.
Satisfied by the sweet treat, I continued touring the streets of Japan. Unexpectedly, I landed myself in an area that specialized in selling grocery and pets. It felt refreshing seeing something new asides from clothes. I dashed towards the pet store upon seeing the huge bulldog picture hanging above their store. A quick glance around the store and my heart melted, I so wished that I could cuddle the puppies and bring them home.
As the sun disappeared beyond the horizon, I payed a quick visit to the fruit stall and got myself some strawberries. They were sweet and a sweet way to end the day.
Looks like I got ot visit Japan now! Great photos. :D

I was just in Osaka last week! I think I just missed the snow, because I saw piles of it here and there, as well as snowman carcasses :P but it was still really cold there! Despite the cold I also got ice cream, green tea flavored :') So good! I also had green tea flavored mochi. And black sesame flavored mochi filled with black sesame paste. Ahh, I miss Japanese food so much! I wish I didn't have to leave. Winter break ended too soon! -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey's
