Best hidden cafe in Tokyo Kimitsuchuo Dori

There was a tiny café near Kimitsuchuo Dori station which exuded a feeling of home, we had to go for it. My expectations for the food was not exceedingly high but I was blown when the flavours hit my palette. The fried rice had great texture and every grain was bursting with flavour. It was well complimented with the miso soup and definitely a delightful meal. 

The satisfying meal got me thinking about their dessert and nothing screams Japan more than a nice green tea cake roll. The flavours were not overpowering and it struck a good balance with the cream. As I enjoyed my cake, the sun rays poured in and lighted up the place giving it a picturesque feel, a simple pleasure to be enjoyed along with my cake. Kimitsuchuo Dori may seem like a secluded town but it is more than it meets the eye. Be sure to explore it to find out the hidden wonders that lie beyond its plain façade.
