22nd birthday

I turned 22 two weeks ago. I got out of bed with only thoughts of getting a great cup of coffee at Hoshino coffee. This year it just felt a little different, I was not going to have a birthday cake but a soufflé instead. The interesting part, I was going to have it for breakfast. Things just seem a little different after 21 haha. I guess sometimes birthdays are not always about fanciful parties and cakes. Sometimes it is the simple things that matter.
