Aimee Sicora

I recently discovered Aimee Sicora an illustration artist. We just collaborated to produce a collection of illustrations for my new website (coming up soon, will let you guys know about it when is done).

I would love to introduce you to her and will let her tell you a little more about what she does.
Ever since I can remember I have loved to create, anything and everything that involved my hands and my imagination. My grandpa was an artist so I think that creativity is in my genetics.
I received by BA with Honours in Fashion Design in 2006. Somehow it took me a few years to understand exactly where I was to fit in the design world. I finally realized that Illustration was my true passion. It gives me so much joy and I feel like I am able to do what I was created to do. Obviously fashion is still a big influence in what I do, I am absolutely inspired by beautiful clothing and accessories. I also get inspiration from: people, color, the beauty of nature and world travel.
I gather my inspiration and start sketching, I add watercolor, sometimes a little color pencil and a dash of glitter. I enjoy imagining that I am creating and bringing to life a character each time that I paint, with a swish of my pencil and a stroke of paint I create these mini people on paper. I love what I do and feel privileged to have the life that I live.
My Esty shop offers beautiful prints that can be framed and hung in your living space. Illustration prints also make great gifts for special friends who have excellent taste. I have also been introducing a stationary line that features my illustrations on greeting cards and notecard sets. I love to do custom work, working with clients on personal and business projects is a great experience and the collaboration produces beautiful pieces of illustration work.
If you would like to see more of her work please connect with her.

I love Karen's silk scarves, I had a hard choice choosing one but in the end I choose the greyhound dog race scarf! I gonna wear it soon again, can't wait!! Karen was so sweet, she sent a card to me too ( I secretly love it, simple and special at the same time ). I was very interested in knowing more about Karen so here's an interview I had with her and would love to share with you sweethearts!
