Desserts is the last course that concludes a meal and I always have the tendency to keep the best for the last. I visited the Fat cat café after having a simple meal, looking to satisfy my sweet cravings. Fat cat is known for their unique desserts and intricate plating.

We had the faux passion fruit dessert and a lime mojito. The faux passion fruit dessert came in two parts. The first course made a mystical appearance, covered in a dome shape glass and fogged up with the smoke from the dry ice. Lifting up the lid allowing the smoke to slowly dissipate it revealed two chocolate balls. Taking a bite into it, passion fruit juice spilled out literally, it was hard to imagine how they managed to contain so much juice in those chocolate balls. It had a nice contrast so sweet and sour. Now, the second part of the passion fruit dessert. Another beautifully plated dish lays before us. On first sight, it looks a like a giant purple ball but on second thought, we realized that the ball actually symbolized a passion fruit. Cracking through the tough chocolate exterior, you will hit a jelly-like interior with great passion fruit flavor. The plate was decorated with sesame crumbs, coconut sherbet and drops of mint and basil sauce, which added texture and a fusion of flavours. Delicious!

The mojito was enclosed in a thin membrane that explodes at the slightest bite. A dessert that can actually be finished in a mouthful.

Also, you may have realized that I have been wearing the Brooklyn top from Belmto quite often. I can't find a reason not to love it, so please be prepared to see it on the blog quite often, haha!
