Desserts is the last course that concludes a meal and I always have the tendency to keep the best for the last. I visited the Fat cat cafĂ© after having a simple meal, looking to satisfy my sweet cravings. Fat cat is known for their unique desserts and intricate plating.

We had the faux passion fruit dessert and a lime mojito. The faux passion fruit dessert came in two parts. The first course made a mystical appearance, covered in a dome shape glass and fogged up with the smoke from the dry ice. Lifting up the lid allowing the smoke to slowly dissipate it revealed two chocolate balls. Taking a bite into it, passion fruit juice spilled out literally, it was hard to imagine how they managed to contain so much juice in those chocolate balls. It had a nice contrast so sweet and sour. Now, the second part of the passion fruit dessert. Another beautifully plated dish lays before us. On first sight, it looks a like a giant purple ball but on second thought, we realized that the ball actually symbolized a passion fruit. Cracking through the tough chocolate exterior, you will hit a jelly-like interior with great passion fruit flavor. The plate was decorated with sesame crumbs, coconut sherbet and drops of mint and basil sauce, which added texture and a fusion of flavours. Delicious!

The mojito was enclosed in a thin membrane that explodes at the slightest bite. A dessert that can actually be finished in a mouthful.

Also, you may have realized that I have been wearing the Brooklyn top from Belmto quite often. I can't find a reason not to love it, so please be prepared to see it on the blog quite often, haha!

Belmto Astrid Top

I rarely wore caps always afraid of it messing up my hair or it didn't suit my style. That Saturday, I could feel the sun's rays piercing my face and the cap suit the Astrid Top perfectly. The Astrid Top has a classy look but when worn with the cap, it adds a whole new dimension. The classy look transformed into a contemporary street style in a matter of seconds. The plunging neckline was a saver, it allowed for air movement and made it real comfy.

Belmto Vera dress

I love getting up close to nature. I sometimes feel that nature on its own is a work of art, so beautiful yet mystical. Taking a walk in the garden with my Vera dress, I found an extremely exquisite looking leaf. The colors were so bold, contrasting and vibrant, a true beauty.

The Vera dress shared the same vibrancy and just enough for the upcoming Christmas. The Vera dress highlighted my body contours in its silky touch. Definitely something for the upcoming Christmas celebrations!

Summer silk, Brooklyn top

The long awaited weekend is finally here and I was really hoping to get some croissants for breakfast. I wore the Brooklyn silk top along with a pair of flare jeans. The Brooklyn silk top was light and airy but for the most part, I really love the ruffles. For a little sophistication, I tie the Vivienne Westwood scarf around my neck before heading to the brawn and brains cafe. I heard that they served up some awesome croissants which got me thrilled.

Their menu was written on a huge chalkboard which made viewing really easy. The cafe had many large windows which allowed good amounts of natural light in, really brightening up the ambience. Everyone seemed real chirpy and delighted with their meals. I took a glance around and everyone had something common on their table, an earl grey glazed croissant.

We had mushroom and chicken wrap for our mains and the earl grey croissant to savour for later. The meal was really gratifying especially with a cup of coffee.

The earl grey glaze was decadent, it almost got me going for seconds. The Brawn and brains cafe truly is an amazing place to hang out and chill.

Belmto chloe dress

I love silk and having my own label was always a passion. After months of going through the designs and production, I am glad to say that I am finally wearing a piece of my own. To me, quality precedes everything else, so we have chosen a luxurious 100% 22mm crepe de chine for all our pieces. I decided to wear the Chloe dress to the beach because of the open back design. The beach is truly a great place to illustrate the open concept of the dress as the sea always seem boundless.

Wearing it, I love how the sea breeze gently brushes against my back as the rest of my body is pampered by the soft and luxurious touch of the silk. Sometimes I feel really bare, it seems as though I am not wearing anything because of the fabric, but I absolutely love it. It feels like walking around my house purely unclad.

It was a windy day as we watched the sun started slowly set. I love watching how the sun slowly disappeared into the horizon feeling happy about the dress.
